The standard in Oklahoma for cabinetry construction is known as "site-built or site-custom." These are built in a local shop or directly in the home and finished by painters after carpentry is complete. The biggest advantage to this method is that these cabinets are available at the absolute lowest cost, there is little to source so lead times are very quick and when you hit the paint store there are thousands of color and stain finishes without any additional charges, but there are trade offs.
Our cabinetry, known as "pre-finished", is American made and finished, but done so in a controlled environment using the very best of equipment and latest in technology available today. Our finishes are applied in multiple layers with heat cure technology and hand sanding between coats. Ranging from semi-custom to completely custom, you have just as many options and creative freedom — plus the added value of decades of research and development along with national and international design influence. Our opinion is that this is the golden standard in cabinetry as it is made to last as long as you own your home. Our finishes are so durable that our manufacturers often put lifetime limited warranties on them to prove it.
We carry a wide array of beautiful construction styles from quality eco-friendly furniture board to low carb emission plywood and solid walnut to stainless steel. All of the cabinetry that we sell features soft-close, full extension glides and soft-close hinges. Our hardware is rated for heavier loads and stands up to more wear and tear than the basic hardware typically used in site-built cabinetry.

PLANNING:
Your sales consultant is a professional in the pre-finished cabinetry industry. You will have a team dedicated to your project so that any questions along the way are answered quickly and confidently. Your jobsite will be measured twice by two different people on our team for accuracy before ordering. We want to make sure that every detail has been addressed. We will discuss project timeline, installation orchestration and all the specifics that your job will entail.
DESIGN:
We have over 40 years of combined experience in the pre-finished cabinetry industry. We constantly study new trends and cabinet amenities that not only improve functionality but also work to make life a little easier and less stressful. Our team of talented designers is passionate about your project and work with you to transform the cabinetry of your dreams into a reality.
INSTALLATION:
You are always welcome to install our cabinetry yourself. We are happy to help provide you with instruction and answer any questions. However if you choose to let Wilshire Cabinet + Company install your project, you will be assigned a dedicated Project Manager who will work tirelessly to ensure an excellent installation experience. We walk your job several times during the process. We assist you with electrical, plumbing and HVAC rough in locations to be sure that everything is where it needs to be. We work through any unforeseen challenges and we guarantee your satisfaction.
